Gender discrimination by Omisha

Our treatment of women in history brings us no glory and honour. Indian society has never been generous towards omen. Unfortunately, this discrimination continues today also in one way or another.

There have been many reforms to empower women, however, in certain states of India, this discrimination persists

India is a patriarchal society, which likes to hold on to its belief and not even promote girl child education.

Dowry deaths, eve teasing, marital rapes are prominent evils of society. Legislation for women remain only in words and not in actions.

There should not be any kind of discrimination in the t, wages, reservations in jobs and legislation.

Children should be made to understand the importance of gender equality and should be aware of dignity and respect for women.

Then only gender equality can be established and we can grow towards more equality.
